The mission of the college is to ensure that through high quality teaching and learning the diverse and wide range of students gain the desired qualifications, broad knowledge, skills and experience to allow them to achieve the well deserved career goals and participate in a competitive global economy.
The aim of these qualifications is to recognise the application of a range of IT user skills, knowledge and understanding. OCR’s new ITQ provides increased flexibility and choice for candidates and centres, allowing them the opportunity to use any method, or combination of methods, which clearly demonstrates that the learning outcomes and assessment criteria have been met by candidates. It is, however, important that candidates submit actual work and that professional discussion and tutor observation are only used to support actual work. Minimum of 39 credits are required.
